Hari Raya Puasa means "Day of Celebration" is an important religious festival celebrated by the Muslims in Singapore and Malaysia. This festival is marked as the end of Ramadan that is one month of fasting.

In prior to Hari Raya Puasa , houses are thoroughly cleaned and decorated with the lighting of oil lamps to welcome the angels which is believed to be visiting the earth during the seven days preceding the festival.
